The Biocodex Microbiota Foundation

A Corporate Foundation Funded by Biocodex

For 15 years, there has been a number of heartening and promising research leads into the microbiota, but the fact remains that we have a long way to go before we can prevent or cure diseases related to the microbiota. To help advance research, Biocodex is launching the Biocodex Microbiota Foundation (BMF), a fully independent organization which is self-funded, guided by an independent board of directors, and a scientific committee composed of independent scientific experts.

“Through the Biocodex Microbiota Foundation, we hope to contribute to microbiota research worldwide via scientific grants. The BMF will support fundamental clinical work on various aspects of human intestinal, cutaneous, vaginal or other specific microbiota.” Marie-Emmanuelle Le Guern, Chairman of the Biocodex Microbiota Foundation

The Biocodex Microbiota Foundation will fund research projects focused on the microbiota at two levels: national and international. Projects will be evaluated and then selected by the scientific committees composed of independent experts.
